Everyone is probably aware that Crumb drew this famous cover first before Zap #1, even though Zap #1 was published and sold before Zap #0. But in many ways, it's this image which is associated with Crumb's plunge into (and pioneering) underground comics. Perhaps to fully understand and connect with this image, you had to have been there.

The edition is 110 prints. The dimension of the artwork is 15" x 19.5". The Rives BFK archival cream paper it's printed on is 22 x 30 inches. All prints are sold with our guarantee for your complete satisfaction or your money back.

Wildwood Serigraphs is releasing the latest Crumb etching we call Quiet Study. It's one of Crumb's favorite drawings, and he really does look forward to the day when he can devote most of his time to quiet study. Let's hope this doesn't happen too soon. Just kidding R.--you've worked hard enough, you deserve a little R n' R.

A limited, etched edition of 45. Hand-ripped German paper is 12 x 15 inches. Embossed area is 9 x 6 inches. Actual image is 7.75 inches by 4.75 inches. Signed, numbered and dated by Crumb.

SOLD OUT

In the early to mid 1970's, Crumb did several front page illustrations for the Mendocino County, California newspaper Mendocino Grapevine. This one is from February, 1973. The type, the grapevine border, the illustration, it's all classic Crumb. We've brought the image back to life as a small, etched edition (50 prints). Our question is: did Crumb create the expression "treehugger" with this image? We don't know, and if anybody does, we'd love to hear from you.

On classic archival Hahnemuhle paper, the image size is 7" x 9.5". Signed, numbered and dated by Crumb. Will be released November 30th. All Wildwood prints guaranteed for your complete satisfaction or you money back.
