John Speed (1552-1629) is probably the most famous cartographer from any period. His double hemispheric world map (published in 1626) was by far the most detailed and informative world map in English in it's time and printed for decades after his death. It is reproduced here with 15 colors to create an edition with 200 prints. The image size is 24" x 18." The cream archival paper is 30" x 22." Each print is titled and numbered in pencil.
